Basic Information

Hongliang Gu is professor of philosophy at East China Normal University. His research interests include Modern Chinese Philosophy, Confucianism, and Pragmatism. He is the author of Misunderstanding Pragmatism (2000), The Discourse of Personality in Modern China (2005), Confucian Life-world (2008).
